What you will do

• Develop and maintain compliance with OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, EPA, and other regulatory standards.
• Conduct job hazard assessments and implement robust health and safety policies for AI infrastructure construction and operation.
• Perform detailed safety reviews of complex operations involving high-power systems, liquid cooling, and hazardous materials.
• Lead incident investigations, including initial response, root cause analysis, and corrective action development.
• Implement safety programs for LOTO, confined spaces, fall protection, and electrical safety.
• Develop safety contingency plans for fires, chemical spills, and power events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, occupational safety, environmental science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in EHS program design and oversight, ideally in data centers, high-tech manufacturing, or industrial construction.
• Must be based in or relocate to Memphis, TN.
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances and background checks.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or aerospace engineering with an emphasis on OHS.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification.
• Knowledge of process safety management and chemical delivery systems for large-scale compute facilities.
