What you will do

• Develop and continuously improve environmental programs at Memphis-area facilities.
• Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (EPA, TDEC, Shelby County Health Department).
• Manage hazardous materials and waste programs, including recordkeeping and TRI/Tier II reporting.
• Maintain site operational compliance plans such as SWPPP, SPCC, and air emissions permits.
• Coordinate environmental contractors for permitting, testing, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with engineering and facilities teams to integrate environmental considerations into site design.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in the execution of environmental and regulatory compliance programs.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Memphis, TN.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required background checks and site access credentials.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering.
• Experience in high-growth industrial or data center environments.
• Expert knowledge of Tennessee air permitting, combustion turbines, and wastewater management.
• Proficiency in emissions calculations and regulatory interpretation.
