TL;DR

Location: Remote (Must be authorized to work in the United States and be based in the U.S.)

What you will do

  • Lead and scale the payer partnership strategy across California and emerging markets including New York, Maryland, and Washington.
  • Own a portfolio of strategic health plan relationships across Medicaid and Medicare lines of business (CalAIM, ECM, D-SNP).
  • Build and develop the Account Management team, defining segmentation, ownership models, and a repeatable playbook.
  • Serve as the executive relationship owner for high-priority partners, leading QBRs and long-term growth planning.
  • Drive retention, renewal, and expansion across geographies, populations, and product lines.
  • Ensure performance against contract requirements and KPIs, translating data into executive-level action plans.

Requirements

  • 9-10+ years of experience in payer/provider partnerships, account management, or managed care.
  • 3-5+ years of leadership experience building functions in a high-growth environment.
  • Deep expertise with Medicaid managed care (Medi-Cal strongly preferred).
  • Experience with Medicare or D-SNP programs.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Strong operational and financial acumen in value-based care environments.

Nice to have

  • Experience with CalAIM (ECM / Community Supports).
  • Experience managing complex, multi-market payer partnerships.
