What you will do

• Define and lead the development of advanced packaging and 3DIC implementation flows for foundry and customer solutions.
• Build and maintain strategic working relationships with R&D, product engineering teams, and external customers.
• Execute complex routing for laminates and RDL designs using Allegro Package Designer (APD).
• Develop technology files, create rules and constraints, and manage Ravel coding for 3D rules.
• Implement bondwires, bumps, and specialized 3D structures and designs.
• Oversee the staffing and growth of the 3DIC services team, assuming management responsibilities over time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 20 years of experience in package design.
• 10 years of specialized experience as an APD expert.
• Expertise in 2.5D, 3DIC, and stacked die technologies.
• Proven ability to create Virtuoso-ready APD package files.
• Must be based in or able to work from Arizona or Austin, Texas.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Allegro SKILL for scripting and automation.
• Experience with RF and standard-based routing (PCIe, LPDDR, UCIE).
• Knowledge of chip-level CMOS design concepts.
• Expertise in 3rd party packaging formats such as GDS, Gerber, IPC, and DXF.
