What you will do

• Lead commercial design projects for electronic security systems, managing the lifecycle from sales concepts to construction administration.
• Conceptualize system designs and develop detailed specifications, budgets, and timelines.
• Create security floor layouts, wiring diagrams, schematics, and backboard layouts using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Develop Bills of Materials (BOM) and supporting documentation for customer RFPs.
• Perform quality control by reviewing drawings and recommending design changes to meet scope and quality requirements.
• Mentor and provide guidance to Design Engineers and Associate Design Engineers.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA (Virtual Seattle, WA).
• 5-7+ years of experience in ESS systems design, integration, or engineering.
• Proven experience leading efforts in access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection domains.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, and Revit.
• 2+ years of team leadership or engineering management experience.
• Associate's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Lenel, CCure, Honeywell, Brivo, Milestone, ExacqVision, Eagle Eye, Axis, or Hanwha platforms.
• Industry certifications in access control or video surveillance (e.g., Lenel Onguard, Milestone).
• Experience with enterprise-level networking and IP-based ESS system architecture.
