What you will do
- Build and embed a performance-calibrated operating model and consistent decision-making
- Run the full performance management cycle and coach managers to operate effectively
- Drive AI-first people operations, automating onboarding, self-serve HR, and scalable systems
- Design automated, tech-enabled workflows across core people processes
- Partner with leadership to retain top talent through progression and performance differentiation
- Own and scale the hiring and talent engine with a structured, values-driven approach
- Ensure full regulatory compliance, including FCA requirements, and maintain audit readiness
Requirements
- Proven experience scaling a company from ~100 to 500 employees in high-growth
- Strong end-to-end experience across People and Talent
- Deep understanding of performance-driven environments
- Hands-on manager coaching to influence behavior and raise standards
- Experience in FCA-regulated (or similar) environment with regulatory people processes
- Systems and operational mindset with comfort in AI, automation, and modern tooling
- Strong commercial awareness of people decisions' impact on cost, efficiency, and growth
- Clear communicator comfortable with senior leadership and CEO
Nice to have
- Background in fintech or high-growth scale-ups
- Experience building AI-enabled HR processes or internal tools
- Exposure to Remuneration Committees and performance-linked compensation
- Experience in lean, high-ownership environments
