What you will do

• Lead a team in deploying Sila’s anode materials within consumer, industrial, and automotive markets.
• Direct technical goals and plans through collaboration with cell suppliers and OEMs.
• Recruit, hire, and train new staff while overseeing daily workflows and portfolios.
• Coach and develop engineers through consistent feedback and professional growth opportunities.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between Product, Business Development, and R&D teams.
• Manage external partner relationships to gather competitive intelligence and support sales activities.

Requirements

• B.S. or higher in engineering or physical science.
• 12+ years of industry experience (fewer for candidates with an advanced degree).
• Deep understanding of lithium-ion batteries, components, and materials.
• Proven experience leading customer- or partner-facing technical relationships.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%, both domestic and international.
