Salary: $180,000 - $240,000 USD

What you will do

• Own the mechanical basis of design for generation assets, balance of plant, and building services.
• Establish design standards and reference architectures to enable rapid, repeatable deployment.
• Lead heat rejection strategy, aerothermal design, and acoustic engineering for generation facilities.
• Direct technical alignment between OEMs, EPCs, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage mechanical scope from procurement and construction through to commissioning and testing.
• Build and mentor a high-performing mechanical engineering team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 15+ years of experience in power generation or mission-critical industrial infrastructure.
• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience.
• Deep understanding of reciprocating engines, gas turbines, or similar prime mover assets.
• Working knowledge of ASME B31.1/B31.3, NFPA, and EPA regulatory requirements.
• Ability to travel to project sites, offices, and supplier locations as needed.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience with large reciprocating engine plant design.
• Background in scaling technical standards across multi-site portfolios.
• Experience supporting large-scale data center or AI infrastructure projects.
