Location: Must be based in the US (AMER)
Salary: $180,000 - $240,000 USD

What you will do
- Own the mechanical basis of design for generation assets, balance of plant, and building services.
- Establish design standards and reference architectures to enable rapid, repeatable deployment.
- Lead heat rejection strategy, aerothermal design, and acoustic engineering for generation facilities.
- Direct technical alignment between OEMs, EPCs, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage mechanical scope from procurement and construction through to commissioning and testing.
- Build and mentor a high-performing mechanical engineering team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 15+ years of experience in power generation or mission-critical industrial infrastructure.
- 5+ years of engineering leadership experience.
- Deep understanding of reciprocating engines, gas turbines, or similar prime mover assets.
- Working knowledge of ASME B31.1/B31.3, NFPA, and EPA regulatory requirements.
- Ability to travel to project sites, offices, and supplier locations as needed.
Nice to have
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience with large reciprocating engine plant design.
- Background in scaling technical standards across multi-site portfolios.
- Experience supporting large-scale data center or AI infrastructure projects.
