What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of hardware engineers, providing technical and architectural direction for DC power supply development.
• Actively contribute to the design and validation of DC-DC power supply hardware, focusing on efficiency, thermal behavior, and reliability.
• Oversee hardware development projects from concept to production, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with firmware, software, mechanical, and manufacturing engineering teams.
• Implement best practices to enhance product quality and engineering efficiency in power hardware design.
• Ensure all products meet customer requirements, industry safety standards, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in hardware engineering, with a strong background in DC power supply or power electronics design.
• 2+ years in a managerial role, ideally in a player/coach capacity.
• Direct experience in functional management of 6 or more staff members.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals, analog/power circuit design, and control loops.
• Experience with lab debugging and validation tools such as oscilloscopes and power analyzers.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with power supply architectures and complex board-level power systems.
• Strong understanding of DC-DC converters, AC-DC conversion, and regulation protection schemes.
