Associate People Partner

TL;DR

Associate People Partner: Support execution and improvement of core HR programs for sports media company with an accent on employee relations, manager coaching, and compliance. Location: Remote-based within the United States, may require some travel

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 USD

What you will do

• Support managers and employees as day-to-day point of contact for HR needs, escalating complex issues.
• Advocate for employees to provide necessary tools, resources, and support for success.
• Administer core HR programs including onboarding, offboarding, training, and internal communications.
• Build and maintain relationships with managers and employees through regular communication.
• Align HR support with business priorities by understanding team goals.
• Handle employee relations matters with compliance, judgment, and confidentiality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent experience)
• 0-2+ years HR or relevant internship experience a plus
• Working knowledge of HR areas, employment laws, and best practices
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and attention to detail skills
• Self-starter comfortable in fast-paced environment
• Proficient with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office

Nice to have

• SHRM or PHR certification (or interest in pursuing)
