TL;DR

What you will do

  • Design and execute scalable HR strategies, including performance management and career progression frameworks.
  • Develop data-driven retention and engagement programs to reduce turnover and strengthen talent development.
  • Coach and enable managers on setting expectations, providing feedback, and managing underperformance.
  • Oversee core HR operations, compensation, benefits, and compliance with U.S. and Canadian employment laws.
  • Advise leadership on employee relations and foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and high performance.
  • Partner with the recruiting team to align hiring frameworks and onboarding programs with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of HR experience, including leadership roles.
  • Experience building HR frameworks within scaling technology companies.
  • Strong expertise in performance management and leadership coaching.
  • Solid understanding of U.S. and Canadian employment laws.
  • Experience supporting and managing distributed teams.
  • Strong communication and executive advisory skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience in fintech or SaaS industries.
  • Experience scaling organizations from 50 to 150+ employees.
  • Experience collaborating with dedicated recruiting teams.
