What you will do
- Design and execute scalable HR strategies, including performance management and career progression frameworks.
- Develop data-driven retention and engagement programs to reduce turnover and strengthen talent development.
- Coach and enable managers on setting expectations, providing feedback, and managing underperformance.
- Oversee core HR operations, compensation, benefits, and compliance with U.S. and Canadian employment laws.
- Advise leadership on employee relations and foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and high performance.
- Partner with the recruiting team to align hiring frameworks and onboarding programs with organizational goals.
Requirements
- 10+ years of HR experience, including leadership roles.
- Experience building HR frameworks within scaling technology companies.
- Strong expertise in performance management and leadership coaching.
- Solid understanding of U.S. and Canadian employment laws.
- Experience supporting and managing distributed teams.
- Strong communication and executive advisory skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech or SaaS industries.
- Experience scaling organizations from 50 to 150+ employees.
- Experience collaborating with dedicated recruiting teams.
