TL;DR

Customer Support Agent (Fintech): Providing first-line support for a new credit card product in Mexico with an accent on customer empathy and issue resolution. Focus on guiding users through financial products, improving support processes, and collaborating with product teams to enhance user experience.

Location: Hybrid (Mexico). Must be based in Mexico as part of the local founding team.

Salary: $8,400 - $16,800 MXN

What you will do

  • Respond to customer inquiries via chat, email, and phone regarding credit card balances, payments, and app features.
  • Troubleshoot common account and transaction issues while following security and compliance processes.
  • Maintain deep product expertise to provide consistent and accurate guidance to customers.
  • Identify recurring customer pain points and suggest improvements for FAQs and help articles.
  • Collaborate with Product and Operations teams by sharing real-time customer feedback.

Requirements

  • Strong written communication skills in Spanish.
  • Must be located in Mexico.
  • High level of empathy and a genuine desire to help people.
  • Proficiency with digital tools, support platforms, and internal dashboards.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict internal policies.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in customer support, call centers, or service roles.
  • Experience supporting financial products such as banking or lending.
  • Familiarity with fintech mobile applications.
