What you will do

• Provide leadership and direction to groups of non-exempt employees, including ongoing performance feedback.
• Initiate and participate in process development and cost improvement projects.
• Coordinate department people resource requirements and assist in budget planning and expense management.
• Communicate daily production plans and address customer service issues or material shortages.
• Monitor bottlenecks and downtime, interfacing with Test Support and Maintenance to resolve equipment problems.
• Track quality indicators and act as the primary contact for resolving scrap occurrences in the process.

Requirements

• Must be based in Columbia, SC.
• Associate’s Degree, vocational/technical training, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6 years of related experience in manufacturing.
• Expert-level knowledge of manufacturing line skills and techniques.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts including probability, statistical inference, and geometry.
• Availability to work overtime and 2nd or 3rd shift assignments as required.
