What you will do
- Analyze internal data and external evidence to drive public affairs strategy at local, national, and EU levels.
- Utilize advanced AI tools and LLMs to synthesize regulatory texts, parliamentary debates, and academic literature.
- Develop evidence-based narratives and data visualizations to strengthen external positioning with policymakers.
- Design and execute policy-focused studies using Python, R, and SQL to identify regulatory risks and opportunities.
- Manage third-party research projects with consultancies and academics to ensure analytical rigor.
- Contribute to building AI-enabled analytical capabilities and establishing best practices for responsible AI use.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in public policy, economics, data science, or a related field with strong quantitative training.
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, economics, or public policy.
- Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL, and experience with AI-enabled research and coding tools.
- Strong grounding in statistical methods, including regression analysis and causal inference.
- Must be based in Amsterdam, Netherlands (Hybrid).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to have
- Experience with text-as-data techniques and exploring large text corpora.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders through rigorous analysis and clear reasoning.
- Keen interest in emerging regulatory, legal, and societal developments affecting digital platforms.
