TL;DR

Director of Infrastructure (Data Centers): Defining and leading the design and governance of critical electrical and mechanical systems across a hyperscale edge data center platform with an accent on redundancy, capacity planning, and infrastructure risk management. Focus on establishing enterprise standards, optimizing infrastructure lifecycles, and ensuring operational resilience and safety across multiple sites.

Location: Columbus, OH (On-site). Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

What you will do

  • Govern enterprise infrastructure strategy, standards, and long-term direction for electrical and mechanical systems across all locations.
  • Define redundancy philosophy, reliability targets, maintenance standards, and infrastructure risk posture.
  • Manage infrastructure lifecycle and capacity planning, including refresh cycles and expansion sequencing.
  • Lead enterprise vendor governance and performance for critical infrastructure providers and OEM relationships.
  • Establish safety, compliance, and energy efficiency frameworks aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide final approval for major infrastructure decisions, high-density deployments, and non-standard configurations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in mission-critical facilities or data center environments.
  • 5+ years in leadership roles with multi-site or enterprise scope.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical infrastructure (UPS, generators, cooling, etc.).
  • Proven experience in capacity planning, infrastructure standards, and vendor management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; sponsorship (including CPT/OPT) is not available.
