What you will do
- Achieve quarterly and annual national advertising and brand partnership sales goals across MaxPreps and PlayOn portfolio
- Build and lead relationships with holding companies, agencies, direct clients, and C-level stakeholders
- Develop strategies for hunting new business and farming renewals
- Create unique multichannel pitches spanning display, video, social, content, and more in collaboration with internal teams
- Negotiate, close deals, support post-sale execution, and ensure client satisfaction
- Report via internal systems and share marketplace insights with Client Strategy, Ad Operations, and other departments
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years digital media sales experience
- Deep VP/SVP/C-level relationships with holding companies (Publicis, Dentsu, GroupM, OMG, Havas, IPG) and direct clients
- Track record of exceeding revenue targets through multichannel creative partnerships
- Proven success in acquiring new business and stewarding client/agency relationships
- Experience negotiating and closing brand partnerships
- Strong communication skills, organized strategic thinking, and enthusiasm for high school sports
- Understanding of digital landscape (Display, Video, Audio, Social, Branded Content, Events, Data/Targeting, Ad Measurement)
- Fluent in MS Office, GSuite, and familiarity with Salesforce or similar
