What you will do
- Coordinate with FAA for simulator compliance, manage waivers, and oversee Quality and Safety Management Systems.
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on simulators and classrooms to maintain 98% availability.
- Conduct daily preflight tests, support instructors, and assist in certification tests.
- Diagnose malfunctions, perform fault isolation, and repair computers, interfaces, and peripheral equipment.
- Provide technical guidance to technicians, interpret schematics, and implement basic simulator modifications.
- Maintain documentation, track repairs, and ensure facility housekeeping for safety.
Requirements
- Must be able to work any days/shifts to support training and maintenance.
- Technical College Degree + 4 years related experience or equivalent in electronics, electro-mechanical, computer, aviation, or simulation technology.
- Minimum 6 years hands-on experience in full flight simulator maintenance and operation.
- Knowledge of aircraft flight trainer maintenance, Microsoft Office, technical writing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to interpret schematics, troubleshoot complex problems, and work with various operating systems.
- Physical demands: lift 40+ lbs overhead, climb ladders, stoop/bend/crawl, distinguish colors/sounds/odors, tolerate heat/noise/hazards.

- Ability to read complex technical documents, calculate figures, understand numbering systems, and interpret performance charts.
