Engineering Technician - 2nd Shift

What you will do

• Provide technical support to production floor on 2nd shift for process and controls.
• Identify, document, and communicate improvement opportunities to engineering team.
• Lead and complete tasks as directed, including gauge R&R by line.
• Monitor and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software issues.
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering on preventative maintenance improvements.
• Participate in hands-on training and update work instructions and process documentation.

Requirements

• Onsite in Napoleon, OH, US; ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
• 1+ years manufacturing and/or technical experience.
• Strong technical background in electrical systems; mechanical and automotive knowledge a plus.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, machine equipment.
• Microsoft Office proficiency; experience in 2D/3D CAD; familiarity with Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
