TL;DR

Bid Specialist - Launch (Sales Early Career Leadership Program): Support preparation of competitive technical proposals by analyzing requirements, estimating costs, and coordinating inputs with cross-functional teams with an accent on delivering high-value solutions and improving bidding processes. Focus on rotations across Belden brands, locations, and technologies in EMEA, building business acumen, commercial skills, and leadership through hands-on learning and mentoring.

Location: Olen (Belgium), Venlo (Netherlands), Stuttgart/Neckartenzlingen (Germany). Able and willing to relocate temporarily (at least 12 months) and rotate internationally within Europe.

What you will do

  • Support sales team in preparing competitive technical proposals: analyze requirements, estimate costs, coordinate inputs from cross-functional teams.
  • Deliver high-value solutions to customers and contribute to continuous improvement of the bidding process.
  • Participate in rotations across Belden brands, locations, and technologies within EMEA.
  • Collaborate with other Launch Program participants in interactive learning programs.
  • Deepen understanding of systems, develop business acumen, commercial, and leadership skills.
  • Receive individual coaching and mentoring from experienced Belden leader.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Technical Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • Initial work experience: at least two relevant internships or maximum one year of work experience.
  • Fluent in English; Dutch or German a strong plus.
  • Leadership potential aiming for management career in Sales.
  • Passion, enthusiasm, flexibility, and mobility for international rotations within Europe (at least 12 months).
