Sales Engineer (Physical Security)

TL;DR

Sales Engineer (Physical Security): Designing and implementing technical surveillance and remote monitoring solutions for top system integrators and large customers with an accent on B2B project development and technical advisory. Focus on defining high-standard Axis solutions, influencing RFP/RFQ processes, and delivering technical training.

Location: Remote based in Nantes or Rennes (or close to those areas), France. Domestic travel within the region and to Paris is required.

What you will do

• Design technical solutions for projects based on local end customers, A&E, and System Integrators perspectives.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor both internally and externally.
• Influence large tenders and RFP/RFQ processes within the local market.
• Develop and present Axis solutions maintaining high technical standards.
• Collaborate with Key Account Managers to define and execute strategies for better positioning in the territory.
• Deliver official Academy and tailored technical training to partners and customers within the territory.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of technical experience in the IT or physical security market.
• Native French and professional level English.
• Experience in pre-sales or B2B technical project-based work.
• Knowledge of network technologies, infrastructure, and applications.
• Ability to setup and demonstrate complex network surveillance solutions.
• Degree in computer science or engineering preferred.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of VMS software.
