UX Designer (Mobile Apps)

Location: Needham, MA, United States; hybrid with 3+ days onsite

Annual salary: $82,500–$115,000 USD

What you will do

• Define connected app experiences for next-generation Shark and Ninja hardware products.
• Translate consumer insights and research into intuitive, polished mobile interfaces.
• Build interactive prototypes to test, learn, and refine designs.
• Contribute to and apply the UX design system, including UI elements, typography, color, and accessibility.
• Collaborate with industrial design, CMF, software, product, and engineering teams through sprint-based cycles.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of UX design experience for iOS and/or Android; strong co-op or 1+ year candidates may also be considered.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong mobile UX thinking is required.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Comfort working at the hardware-software intersection.
• Strong attention to detail, fast execution, and a collaborative mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI, Interaction Design, Industrial Design, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI design tools.
• Physical product experience.
