Sr. UI/UX Engineer (Medical Devices)

Location: Raleigh, North Carolina; hybrid workplace with a required minimum number of onsite days and travel to hirify.global or customer sites.

Estimated base salary: $104,000–$143,000 annually, with potential discretionary bonuses.

What you will do

• Create user-friendly interfaces using hirify.global design patterns, W3C guidelines, Material Design, Apple Human Interface Guidelines, and Android Design Guidelines.
• Conduct customer interviews and user research to identify needs and usability opportunities.
• Build UI prototypes for testing and marketing purposes.
• Plan and moderate usability tests, including test plans, scripts, sessions, and final reports.
• Document UX designs and specifications and provide design input to cross-functional teams.
• Work independently while coordinating project methodologies, tools, and communication across teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Factors or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of related work experience and a solid understanding of UX design principles.
• Advanced Figma experience, including components, variables, auto-layout, and themes.
• Ability to explain and document UI designs and decisions verbally and in writing.
• Ability to travel to hirify.global and customer sites and meet hospital credentialing requirements.
• Applicants must already be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
