TL;DR

Outsourcing Business Owner (Fintech): Managing the full lifecycle of outsourced services and critical ICT relationships within the Client Impact team with an accent on regulatory compliance and operational governance. Focus on conducting due diligence, implementing EBA/DORA guidelines, and ensuring the resilience of outsourced financial services.

Location: Hybrid in Berlin, London, or Tallinn, or remote across Europe

What you will do

  • Lead pre-contractual due diligence, risk assessments, and contract negotiations to ensure regulatory alignment before signature.
  • Define and implement mandatory KPIs, SLAs, and actionable Exit Strategies for all outsourcing providers.
  • Monitor ongoing governance, performance standards, and maintain a complete audit trail of monitoring activities.
  • Manage incident reporting, track remediation action plans, and assess the impact of subcontractor changes.
  • Conduct comprehensive annual risk reviews and update business continuity plans based on market shifts.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in outsourcing management, third-party risk, or compliance, ideally within a regulated financial institution.
  • Hands-on working knowledge of EBA outsourcing guidelines, MaRisk AT 9, and DORA.
  • Strong project management skills to run multiple governance tracks in parallel.
  • English: Excellent written and verbal communication (C1+).
  • Experience collaborating within a 3-lines-of-defense model (GRC, Legal, Compliance, and Internal Audit).

Nice to have

  • Experience with investment/brokerage services, BaaS/IaaS platforms, or white-label financial products.
  • Familiarity with Critical Third-Party Provider (CTPP) classification under DORA.
  • Experience working in a scale-up or hypergrowth environment.
