What you will do

  • Lead a team of Mechanical Engineers through development, testing, and evaluation of designs for the Energy industry.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of complex mechanical engineering projects following NPI processes.
  • Create and maintain detailed engineering drawings, Bill of Materials (BoM), and technical specifications using CAD software.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, and Procurement teams to ensure design feasibility and robustness.
  • Conduct design reviews and testing to uphold stringent performance and quality standards.
  • Mentor team members and promote departmental initiatives through training and performance monitoring.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (or commensurate practical experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on product design and development.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, including the ability to delegate and motivate a team.
  • Proficiency in Solid Edge or similar CAD packages, including 2D drawings and GD&T.
  • Strong understanding of core mechanical engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and assembly techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

  • 2+ years of experience formally leading a Mechanical Design/Engineering Team.
  • Experience working with Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and Business Systems (e.g., PLM).
