What you will do

• Support the assembly and testing of remotely operated vehicle (ROV) sub-systems and production processes.
• Standardize manufacturing processes and procedures to minimize variation and improve cross-department collaboration.
• Manage NPI (New Product Introduction) transfer into production and optimize factory floor layout.
• Own and maintain manufacturing BOMs, routings, and internal production standards.
• Analyze production data to drive continuous improvement of workflows and efficiency.
• Provide technical support for production control and ensure consistency in manufacturing.

Requirements

• Senior engineer with an electrical bias and experience in prototype wiring, testing, and fault finding.
• Background in low-volume, one-off engineered products and systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering, specifically rack equipment, power supplies, and subsea pods.
• Minimum qualification of HNC/HND, Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Hands-on experience in assembly, testing, and quality control.
• Must be able to pass National Security Vetting and verify working rights in the UK.

Nice to have

• Certifications in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green Belt.
• Familiarity with hydraulics.
• Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3 workmanship standards.
