TL;DR

Sales Development Manager (SaaS): Leading and coaching a team of SDRs to drive pipeline growth and achieve quarterly targets with an accent on performance management and skill development. Focus on designing training programs, optimizing lead-to-opportunity conversion, and mentoring cross-functional sales teams.

Location: Must be based within commuting distance of the Boston hub (Hybrid: 3 days in-person)

Salary: $144,000 – $165,000 OTE

What you will do

  • Lead a team of 8-12 Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to overachieve quarterly targets.
  • Conduct weekly 1-on-1s and establish monthly development objectives for team members.
  • Coach and mentor the team on skill development, identifying training needs and managing performance.
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, and training for new SDRs.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to create sales scripts, presentations, and educational materials.
  • Design gamified training courses and pitch simulations based on video analysis.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in sales or business development, preferably in SaaS or tech.
  • Proven track record in a leadership or management role.
  • Deep understanding of the lead generation and opportunity creation process.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to motivate a team.
  • Data-driven mindset for analyzing performance metrics.
  • Must be based within commuting distance of the Boston hub.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience creating video or slide presentations.
