is building 100% electric boats from the ground up, applying first-principles engineering from aerospace and EVs to modernize maritime transport.
What you will do
- Develop and execute partnership strategies across defense and commercial maritime sectors.
- Engage senior stakeholders from defense primes, government entities, and emerging tech providers.
- Identify relevant programs and contracts where electric boat technology can be applied.
- Lead negotiations on partnership terms, agreements, and contracts.
- Guide business strategy using market reseh and analysis of the competitive landscape.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in strategic roles within defense, maritime, aerospace, or robotics industries.
- Proven track record of closing deals and forming high-value partnerships with public and private entities.
- Strong understanding of defense procurement pathways and the Defense Industrial Base.
- Eligible for security clearance.
- Ability to travel regularly (approximately 20–30%).
Nice to have
- Experience at an emerging technology defense contractor or in strategy consulting.
- Experience with government program offices or the marine domain.
- Familiarity with autonomy, robotics, and maritime systems.
- Enthusiasm for clean energy and boating.
