What you will do

• Own the design and frontend quality of core platform areas from initial concept through to production.
• Implement UI fixes and polish directly in the codebase to ensure high quality.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual mockups for rapid iteration based on feedback.
• Collaborate as an embedded partner with product managers and engineers.
• Leverage AI tools to automate repetitive tasks and improve code quality.
• Advocate for product quality and UX guardrails across the platform.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing complex software, preferably in B2B SaaS or developer tools.
• Frontend engineering skills: proficient in React, TypeScript, and CSS.
• Strong visual design fundamentals and high attention to UI craft.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including design systems and prototyping.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with ambiguity.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL consoles, data products, or technical developer tooling.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows (Cursor, Copilot, v0, etc.).
• Open source contributions or an active GitHub presence.
• Experience in globally distributed startup environments.
