What you will do
- Convert clinical trial enrollment forecasts and demand into specific supply requirements.
- Plan and execute necessary API manufacturing campaigns to ensure consistent supply availability.
- Manage inventory movement and maintain adequate depot levels to prevent stock-outs at clinical sites.
- Oversee third-party vendors to ensure timelines and quality standards are met for clinical supply initiatives.
- Utilize and maintain supply/demand planning tools to ensure data accuracy and real-time visibility into the supply chain.
- Communicate milestones, progress against goals, and proactive risk mitigation to Senior Leadership and cross-functional project teams.
Requirements
- Clinical Supply Experience: Direct experience managing the supply chain specifically for Clinical Trials (Phases I-III).
- Technical Proficiency: Proven ability to manage supply/demand planning tools and translate clinical protocols into material requirements.
- API Knowledge: Familiarity with the planning and execution of API manufacturing campaigns.
- Logistics Oversight: Experience in global or domestic inventory movement and depot management.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to lead meetings and present technical supply chain challenges to leadership and multifunctional teams.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in a CMC environment or working closely with CMC stakeholders.
- Strong background in vendor management within the pharmaceutical or biotech sector.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or specialized ERP/Supply Chain software.
