Location: Onsite in Torrance, California, United States; 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off. This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information and the ability to obtain required security clearances.
Salary: $100,000–$130,000 annually

What you will do
- Coordinate sustainment activities that ensure the continued operation of deployed test equipment throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, electrical, software, and power distribution test systems in cooperation with Assembly and Test Operations.
- Coordinate maintenance, upgrades, obsolescence work packages, procurement, and new product introduction activities.
- Investigate and resolve production stoppages, quality escapes, reduced first-pass yield, corrective actions, significant issues, and non-conformances.
- Maintain equipment configuration, release technical documentation, track work requests and preventive maintenance in Pirana AVMS, and review test equipment drawings and software documentation.
- Support root-cause investigations, quality audits, lean improvements, risk assessments, and LOTO documentation and activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, aeronautical engineering, physics, or a related engineering discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in aerospace, automotive, test equipment, or a related engineering sector.
- Experience maintaining and supporting multi-axis, closed-loop, servo-hydraulic, and electromechanical equipment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Ability to work with customers, technicians, engineers, and stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
- Must work onsite in Torrance, California and be able to obtain required security clearances.
Nice to have
- Experience with JIRA, Pirana, NX, or LabVIEW.
- Interdisciplinary experience across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and systems engineering.
- Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience.
- Experience working with international cultures and local norms.
