What you will do

• Develop and maintain test procedures, test specifications, and basic test fixtures for module- and system-level testing.
• Collect and evaluate operational and test data, identify issues, and implement corrective and continuous improvement actions.
• Develop manufacturing methods, operation sequences, and processes for parts, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Coordinate product improvements and new product releases with design, software, test, and operations engineering.
• Estimate manufacturing costs, establish time standards, and recommend tooling and process improvements using Design for Excellence principles.
• Perform root-cause, corrective-action, failure-analysis, and Process FMEA activities for assembly and test issues.

Requirements

• Experience upgrading and downgrading software on servers and standalone computers.
• Ability to configure server systems, Ethernet hubs, and switches.
• Mastery of electrical, pneumatic, fluid, and gas-flow schematics.
• Ability to write and optimize advanced testing scripts for semiconductor equipment build and test environments.
• Knowledge of motion controls, software configurations, plasma, vacuum, pressure, fluid leak checks, and robotics or machine sequencing.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing issues and understand manufacturing final-test field startup procedures.
