Salary: $36.06 - $55.07 per hour

What you will do

• Build and maintain CAD models for spacecraft layouts, including structures, avionics, propulsion, and crew systems using Creo Parametric.
• Develop interface control models and drawings to manage vehicle and inter-element interfaces.
• Export CAD representations for system-level analysis and integration.
• Coordinate with architects and discipline leads to ensure seamless integration for the production phase.
• Apply industry drafting techniques to plan and maintain engineering design data as configurations evolve.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience in automotive, aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle hardware.
• Extensive experience working in ProEngineer/Creo with Windchill familiarity.
• Proven experience managing large CAD assemblies and creating fabrication/installation drawings.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident (Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience using PTC ProPiping, ProCabling, or Routed Systems Designer.
• Knowledge of ASME Y14.100, Y14.5, Y14.41 drafting standards.
• Solid understanding of GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, and common manufacturing materials.
• Experience with a PDM version control database.
