What you will do

• Establish expert-informed thresholds for law enforcement referrals related to violent activities to mitigate imminent threats.
• Advise on high-risk cases using behavioral threat assessment to evaluate criteria for proactive disclosure.
• Engage external mental health, behavioral, and law enforcement experts to refine assessment methodologies.
• Ensure internal protocols for violence detection align with industry standards, privacy protections, and human rights.
• Represent the company in external engagements and convene multidisciplinary experts for guideline recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal policy and safety teams on model responses to concerning user content and threat triage.

Requirements

• 15+ years of relevant experience in behavioral threat assessment and targeted violence prevention.
• Significant leadership experience building or leading threat assessment or violence prevention programs.
• Experience translating complex behavioral signals into practical, defensible operational frameworks.
• Proven track record of working closely with law enforcement, legal, security, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to make high-stakes, time-sensitive decisions in ambiguous situations with incomplete information.
• Experience contributing to or shaping industry standards, research, or training in threat assessment.
