What you will do

• Process employee lifecycle transactions including hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations within Workday.
• Maintain accurate employee records and conduct periodic audits to ensure data integrity.
• Ensure adherence to US and Canada employment standards, compliance requirements, and internal policies.
• Partner with external Payroll and Benefits teams to facilitate accurate employee updates.
• Generate standard and ad hoc People data reports from Workday to support operational needs.
• Document and continuously improve People Operations workflows and system utilization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of Human Resources experience.
• Strong knowledge of US and Canada operational employment laws, benefits, and payroll.
• Proficiency in Workday reporting and employee lifecycle transaction processing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Must be based in the U.S. (preferred) or eligible to work from Canada, Europe, or Latin America.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ADP, Confluence, and Jira.
• Project management experience supporting People initiatives.
• Experience working within a regulated industry.
• Basic knowledge of SOX compliance as applied to People Team processes.
