TL;DR

What you will do

  • Support onboarding and offboarding for employees and contractors (50% time).
  • Facilitate semi-monthly payroll processing with PEO and manage benefits, tax, compliance.
  • Partner with HR leadership to roll out policies and initiatives; identify process improvements.
  • Administer HRIS systems (BambooHR, Remote, Notion, Sequoia One) as primary expert (50% time).
  • Maintain data integrity, generate reports/dashboards, implement enhancements and integrations.
  • Audit HR data and manage EOR for international team members.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of HR experience, ideally in generalist or people operations role.
  • Hands-on experience managing and administering HRIS systems.
  • Strong understanding of core HR practices, employment laws, and compliance.
  • Utilization of AI systems to automate and streamline processes.
  • Comfort balancing employee-facing support with systems work; highly organized, detail-oriented, data-driven.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
