What you will do

• Serve as the primary agent for crop insurance policies including MPCI, Margin Protection, Crop Hail, and Supplemental products.
• Develop and execute personal marketing plans to identify customer needs and expand the portfolio of complex operations.
• Build an active sales pipeline through individual and joint sales calls and tailored proposals.
• Deliver sales presentations and represent the association at agricultural industry events in the region.
• Process insurance forms, analyze applications, and verify underwriting and actuarial calculations.
• Leverage precision farming data to gather acreage and production reporting information.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Finance, or Business preferred.
• Experience in an agriculture-related field with a proven track record in sales and service.
• Experience managing and growing a large, complex book of business.
• Ability to travel 50-70% of the time to visit producers.
• Licensed crop insurance agent or insurance company representative experience preferred.
