TL;DR

Director, Customer Marketing (SaaS): Leading the customer marketing strategy to drive revenue, upsell, and retention across self-serve and managed segments with an accent on AI-orchestrated engagement and customer advocacy. Focus on evolving lifecycle automation into a personalized value engine, scaling advocacy programs, and optimizing the end-to-end customer journey.

Location: Hybrid (expected to work from the office 3 days a week) at hub locations: San Francisco, Denver, Nashville, or Santiago. Relocation stipend may be available.

Salary: $195,000 - $270,000 USD

What you will do

  • Define the customer marketing playbook to achieve revenue targets for SMB net revenue retention and managed customer upsell.
  • Lead and mentor a team of four specialists across lifecycle marketing, advocacy, and events.
  • Transition lifecycle automation to AI-orchestrated engagement using behavior-triggered messaging and chat.
  • Scale advocacy programs to increase customer stories, quotes, and third-party reviews.
  • Direct flagship customer events, including the Customer Advisory Board and Super Admin meetups.
  • Oversee the annual NPS program to gather insights for product and GTM strategies.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, including 6+ years in customer marketing and 3+ years in leadership.
  • Proven track record of owning revenue targets and managing multi-functional teams.
  • Expertise with martech stacks including Marketo, Pendo, and Salesforce.
  • Experience with AI orchestration, chat-based engagement, and data enrichment tools.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable campaign strategies.
  • Must be based in or relocate to a hub location (Denver, San Francisco, Nashville, or Santiago) and work from the office 3 days a week.
