What you will do
- Build and maintain relationships with carriers via phone and email to develop core and dedicated partnerships.
- Negotiate rates and manage carrier profiles to match freight lanes.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and safe pickup and delivery of freight.
- Track and analyze carrier supply, demand, and spot market pricing factors.
- Meet and exceed individual and team financial performance goals.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in or able to work from Chicago, IL
- 0-1+ years of professional experience in a sales or cold calling environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with track and trace.
- Previous experience in transportation or logistics.
