What you will do

• Support SCADA, Energy Management Systems, and telemetry for real-time asset monitoring and control.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and data flow issues across hundreds of distributed renewable energy sites.
• Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Manage virtualized environments using VMware and Hyper-V and maintain Windows-based industrial applications.
• Perform root cause analysis on device communication failures involving relays, inverters, and meters.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to ensure the stability of critical energy infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent military/hands-on experience.
• 1-2 years of related experience.
• Basic understanding of networking (IP addressing, VLANs, routing) and Windows system administration.
• Ability to travel up to 50% to visit renewable energy assets.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card and work in field environments requiring PPE.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (verified via E-Verify).

Nice to have

• Experience with virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
• Knowledge of industrial protocols: DNP3, Modbus, or OPC UA/DA.
• Familiarity with firewalls, network switches, and spanning tree protocol.
