What you will do

• Manage the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of physical and virtual server infrastructure.
• Monitor server and system performance using enterprise tools such as Nagios or SolarWinds.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and server software, including routine patching.
• Configure and troubleshoot network interfaces and connectivity for servers.
• Develop and execute scripts in PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate operational processes.
• Maintain accurate system documentation and ensure adherence to security policies.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Windows, Linux, and UNIX operating systems.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Ability to script in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Must be able to work on-site in Dedham, MA.
