TL;DR

Data Center Technician (AI): Ensuring availability and reliability of data center operations by performing hardware and network diagnostics and physical repairs with an accent on infrastructure stability. Focus on root cause analysis of hardware/software failures and deploying high-performance compute systems for AI workloads.

Location: 100% onsite in Mesa, AZ. Must be a U.S. person (citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) to comply with export control regulations.

Salary: $65,000 – $85,000

What you will do

• Maintain data center operations to ensure the availability and reliability of defined service levels.
• Conduct hardware and network diagnostics and perform physical repairs.
• Perform root cause analysis of hardware and software failures to prevent recurrence.
• Assemble and install equipment, maintain inventory, and manage test/tool equipment.
• Develop scripts for updating server and networking hardware and create technical documentation.
• Provide technical support and training to internal data center teams.

Requirements

• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and assembly.
• Proficiency with the Linux operating system.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in elevated locations.
• Availability to work in a 24/7 environment and participate in an on-call rotation.
• Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. person (Citizen, Green Card holder, etc.) due to export control compliance.

Nice to have

• Prior professional experience in a Data Center environment.
• Knowledge of computer networking and experience with Cisco IOS or Juniper JunOS.
• Ability to use scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in an IT-related field.
