What you will do

• Manage a small caseload, conducting high-quality assessments and support planning.
• Ensure the safeguarding and protection of children by identifying and assessing risks.
• Supervise and motivate a small number of qualified and non-social work staff.
• Support the team manager in maintaining professional standards and allocating daily work.
• Develop effective working relationships with adoptive families, birth families, and adopted adults.
• Coordinate support services and family connections for adopted young people up to age 26.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in Romford, United Kingdom
• Minimum of 3 years post-qualifying experience, including statutory social work.
• CQSW, Diploma in Social Work, or equivalent qualification.
• Valid HCPC registration.
• Firm knowledge of current policy, legislation, and adoption-specific issues.
