TL;DR

Housing Senior Support Consultant: Provide technical support for NEC's Housing software platform with an accent on troubleshooting application issues, database querying, and customer guidance. Location: Remote or hybrid, subject to location. Candidates must have pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK. Documentary evidence required.

What you will do

• Resolve application support issues for NEC Housing and related components using ITIL best practices.
• Provide technical assistance, usage guidance, and workarounds to customers while meeting SLA targets.
• Investigate and fix issues, develop support documentation, and deliver proactive problem management.
• Identify opportunities for additional services and solutions.
• Collaborate in a team, with normal hours 9:00–17:30 UK time, covering Canadian hours one week every 10.

Requirements

• Right to work and travel in the UK (documentary evidence required)
• SQL skills for querying and managing database content
• Experience supporting web-deployed applications
• Understanding of service delivery within SLAs
• Excellent customer relationship and communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience with NEC Housing
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, UNIX Solaris
• Familiarity with APIs, Business Objects, integration tools
• ITIL v4 Foundation certification
• Awareness of software development in ISO 9001 environments
• Intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office skills
