Head of Philanthropic Partnership: Lead a team of partnership managers to secure, develop, and deliver core philanthropic partnerships (trusts, foundations, major donors) contributing income, influence, and impact to GB’s strategic priorities with an accent on cultivation strategies, budget management, and cross-functional collaboration. Focus on building relationships, influencing stakeholders, and achieving results in complex environments.
Location: Oxford / UK (Flexible), Oxford based with hybrid working options
Salary: £49,601- £55,744 FTE

What you will do
- Lead a team to secure and develop philanthropic partnerships with trusts, foundations, and major donors.
- Develop cultivation strategies and plans for existing and new partnerships aligned with strategic priorities.
- Manage budgets, monitor income and expenditure, and ensure delivery of income, influence, and impact.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to broker partnerships and facilitate co-creation.
- Drive team performance, diversity, inclusion, and professional development.
Requirements
- UK based in Oxford with hybrid working; flexible arrangements possible including job share.
- Self-awareness, relationship building experience, and influencing skills.
- Proven track record securing philanthropic income at five/six (preferably seven) figure levels.
- Confident communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to inspire supporters and colleagues.
- Ability to achieve results and make decisions in complexity consistent with strategy and values.
- Knowledge of philanthropy sector trends and international development.

- Experience managing performance and developing diverse teams.
- Brokering, partnering, and facilitation skills.
- Lived experience or action on anti-racism and inequalities.
