Senior Solutions Engineer - Dallas

TL;DR

Senior Solutions Engineer (Storage): Architecting solutions across hirify.global portfolio including ONTAP, SAN, NAS, block, file, hybrid cloud, and data protection for enterprise customers modernizing on-prem and hybrid environments with an accent on disaster recovery, AI readiness, and infrastructure scalability. Focus on leading discovery sessions, shaping account strategies, designing data pipelines, and driving pipeline growth through technical leadership and strategic conversations.

Location: Remote position, but candidates must be based in the Dallas, Texas metro area to effectively support customers and partners across the territory. Hybrid working environment with some in-office and/or in-person expectations.

Compensation: 193,800 - 250,800 USD (OTE).

What you will do

• Serve as technical lead and trusted advisor to enterprise customers across the territory.
• Partner with Client Executives to shape account strategy, build pipeline, and close deals.
• Lead deep discovery sessions to understand customer environments, challenges, and plans.
• Design and architect solutions across full hirify.global portfolio for current and future needs.
• Support account expansion, whitespace opportunities, and net-new logos.
• Engage in strategic discussions on data pipelines, disaster recovery, governance, and hybrid architectures.
• Collaborate with solutions architects, engineering, and channel partners for seamless execution.

Requirements

• 7+ years in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or systems engineering with quota experience.
• Recent experience selling hardware/software, especially storage or storage-adjacent technologies.
• Track record supporting enterprise or Fortune 1000 customers.
• Deep knowledge of on-prem storage (block, file, SAN, NAS) and integrations.
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud, virtualization, data protection, and disaster recovery.
• Must be based in the Dallas metro area with ability to support customers in-territory.
• Strong discovery, communication, and presentation skills translating tech to business outcomes.
