What you will do

• Lead the risk management function for the regulated entity, designing and maintaining the enterprise risk management (ERM) framework.
• Conduct risk assessments and RCSAs across core and emerging product lines to identify exposures and recommend controls.
• Oversee regulatory, operational, liquidity, and ICT risks, ensuring alignment with MiCAR, E-Money Regulations, and DORA.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to embed risk considerations early in the product development lifecycle.
• Act as the primary point of contact for risk-related engagement with the Central Bank of Ireland.
• Develop and report on risk taxonomy, appetite frameworks, and key risk indicators (KRIs) for senior leadership and the Board.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise risk management within financial services, fintech, crypto, or top-tier consulting/audit.
• Must be eligible for appointment as a Pre-Approval Controlled Function (PCF 14) under the Central Bank of Ireland's regime.
• Strong familiarity with digital asset markets and MiCAR regulatory obligations.
• Proven track record of leveraging technology and automation to build scalable, data-driven risk programs.
• Ability to operate independently in a high-growth, fully remote environment.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Finance teams.

Nice to have

• Deep knowledge of the crypto landscape and familiarity with hirify.global's product suite.
• Experience utilizing GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) tools.
