What you will do

• Advise on competition law regarding horizontal and vertical agreements, investigations, and M&A activity.
• Provide guidance on economic and broadcast regulation for new product launches and communication services.
• Develop and implement regulatory strategies, preparing internal and external submissions of strategic importance.
• Manage relationships with regulators, including Ofcom and the Competition and Markets Authority.
• Deliver training on competition law and regulation to the business and wider legal team.
• Supervise junior team members and assist the Director of Legal in prioritizing key workstreams.

Requirements

• Solid post-qualification experience in competition law or regulatory advisory within a law firm, in-house team, or regulator.
• Proven experience and understanding of the UK legal system.
• Relevant industry experience in competition law or regulation.
• Strong verbal and drafting skills for clear legal analysis and advocacy.
• Ability to analyze complex data and prioritize urgent tasks for senior partners.
• Strong communication skills and commercial awareness.
