What you will do

• Develop and execute a strategic go-to-market plan to expand API adoption among institutional firms, fintech platforms, and trading funds.
• Manage the full commercial lifecycle with strategic partners, including proactive outreach, negotiation, and onboarding.
• Act as the primary contact for senior stakeholders to identify and secure impactful partnerships.
• Translate client trading and liquidity needs into actionable product insights for internal Product and Engineering teams.
• Analyze competitive market trends to increase protocol volume and optimize active liquidity management.
• Mentor and lead team members through structured deal reviews and continuous feedback.

Requirements

• Experience in business development, partnerships, or trading desks within traditional finance, fintech, or trading infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, API integrations, and trading workflows.
• Ability to communicate and present credibly to senior technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Strategic mindset with an existing network of institutional and fintech contacts.
• Must be based in New York City for regular in-person collaboration.

Nice to have

• Prior experience at a major fintech, exchange, or HFT/market-making firm.
• Technical experience working on crypto protocols, DeFi, or open source software.
• Deep integration with DeFi ecosystem partners and trading protocols.
