TL;DR
Head of Partner Growth (Fintech): Leading the team responsible for the success of embedded payroll partners to scale the business toward $100M+ with an accent on GTM execution and partner revenue growth. Focus on building repeatable growth playbooks, managing strategic C-suite relationships, and integrating AI into partner operations.
Location: Hybrid in Denver, San Francisco, New York, Las Vegas, Atlanta, Chicago, or Phoenix (Expected in office 2-3 days per week). Candidates outside these geographic areas will not be considered.
Salary: $195,745 – $270,500

What you will do
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of Partner Success Managers and Partner Enablement specialists.
- Own the partner growth strategy across the GEP portfolio, including segmentation, prioritization, and resource allocation.
- Develop repeatable GTM playbooks covering co-marketing, sales enablement, and launch sequencing.
- Manage complex, high-stakes partner relationships directly, including contract negotiations and executive escalations.
- Integrate AI-powered workflows and tools to improve team efficiency, partner reporting, and decision quality.
- Establish a feedback loop between partners, end users, and internal product, engineering, and operations teams.
Requirements
- 12-15 years of total experience, with 8+ years in people management and 7+ years in partner-facing or channel roles.
- Direct experience operating on the partner or channel side of the table.
- Strong GTM playbook experience, including co-marketing, keyword strategies, and content roadmaps.
- Full-funnel fluency from demand generation through conversion, activation, and retention.
- AI fluency: actively using LLMs and automation platforms to accelerate workflows and build team capability.
- Must be based in Denver, San Francisco, New York, Las Vegas, Atlanta, Chicago, or Phoenix.
Nice to have
- Experience with embedded or platform business models (APIs, developer tools, B2B2B).
- Knowledge of payroll, HR tech, or fintech software ecosystems.
- Experience managing partner P&Ls, cost-to-manage models, or portfolio-level financial analysis.
- Experience scaling a partner function from early stage.
