TL;DR

Senior Systems Engineer (Infrastructure): Design and implement IT infrastructure processes and solutions with an accent on server hardware, virtualization platforms, and data protection technologies. Focus on administering Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, Linux, storage systems, and cloud services like Azure AD and AWS EC2.

Location: Onsite in Zeeland, MI, United States. Standard schedule M-F 8-5 with 24x7 on-call rotation and up to 10% travel.

What you will do

• Design and implement major hardware/software solutions for infrastructure including servers, storage, and virtualization.
• Administer upgrades, implementations, and integrations for platforms like Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, and Linux.
• Provide technical support for infrastructure hardware, software, firmware, and advanced problem resolution.
• Develop and improve IT processes, lead complex tasks and small projects independently.
• Coach and mentor others on IT tasks while participating in 24x7 on-call rotations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred; 6+ years professional IT experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of server hardware, x86/x64 environments, data storage, and data protection methods.
• Experience administering Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware Virtual Infrastructure, Linux, and related technologies.
• Proficiency with Azure AD, AWS EC2, enterprise data protection, and cloud-native endpoint protection.
• Ability to solve complex problems independently and present solutions clearly.
